Wayne Nicholas

CEO

Over 35 years direct service experience, much in regional and remote areas of Australia. Beginning with a community service background his capabilities have grown to include service development and strategic planning, mentoring and advisory services. He is a member of the International Association of Community Development.

He has lived and worked on remote communities for approximately twenty years growing up and later professionally. Areas of activity include in the Northern Territory, Galiwinku, Wadeye, Alice Springs, Mutijulu and Docker River, Mataranka, a majority of the Roper Gulf Communities and Tenant Creek. In Western Australia he has lived on Billiluna and worked across Balgo, Mulan and Halls Creek.

Originally living on Coober Pedy and the Davenport community in Port Augusta he is involved with project development in these areas including the Marree and Roxby Downs regions.

Having lived and worked on remote communities he has developed a long-term interest in the development of remote health delivery on site cost along with effective, low maintenance remote housing.

Creating meaningful, lasting local employment, increasing local skills and opportunities remains an underpinning objective in all projects. Successful outcomes rely on delivering a wide range of skills within a cohesive framework.

To provide balance and risk management his network includes strong, up to date and capable colleagues from within civil works, corporate advisory, community development and planning. Networks also include finance and business development sectors.
